This policy explains what personal information Nemi Corp. and its subsidiaries (“Nemi”, “we”, “us”) collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Nemi is headquartered in Stafford, Texas, US, and operates factories in Chennai and Coimbatore, India.

Nemi Corp. is responsible for the personal information described here. Our group companies in India may also handle it, for the same purposes.

What we collect

• Contact and RFQ form: your name, email address, company, the topic you choose, your message, and any drawings, files or links you add.
• Careers form: your name, email address, your message and the résumé you upload.
• Email alerts form: your name, email address, the type of contact you are (for example investor or media) and the alerts you choose.
• Email verification: before a form is sent we email you a one-time code to confirm the address is yours.
• Website analytics: pages viewed, referring page, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and similar usage data, collected through Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) and Cloudflare Web Analytics. See our Cookie notice.
• Emails you send us and any information you choose to include.
• Information we do not ask for: we do not ask for sensitive information such as government ID numbers, financial account details, health information, or information about race, religion or political opinions. Please do not include it in your message or résumé.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and manage any work that follows.
• To consider your job application.
• To send the investor email alerts you sign up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To run, secure and improve this website, and to understand how it is used.
• To meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. We do not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Legal bases

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example in the EEA and the UK), we rely on: your consent, for analytics cookies where consent is required; steps you ask us to take before a contract, for quotes and job applications; our legitimate interests in answering enquiries and keeping the website secure; and compliance with legal obligations. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process the personal data you give us for the purpose for which you gave it.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that process it for us, under contract, and only as needed:

• Supabase, which stores form submissions and uploaded files and sends verification codes;
• Resend, which delivers the notification emails our team receives;
• Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) and Cloudflare (Web Analytics), for website analytics;
• Netlify and Amazon Web Services, which host the website.

We may also disclose information within the Nemi group, to professional advisers, or where the law requires it.

International transfers

Our team and our providers work in the United States, India and other countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK addendum to them.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries, files and applications for as long as we need them for the purpose they were sent for and for our business records, and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict some uses, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to a data protection authority. Under India’s DPDP Act you may also seek grievance redressal and nominate another person to exercise your rights. To make a request, email info@nemilmm.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We will respond within the time the law allows.

US state privacy rights

If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, this section applies to you in addition to the rest of this policy.

• What we collect: identifiers (name and email address); professional or employment information (your company, job applications and résumés); internet activity (pages viewed and how you use the website); approximate location derived from your IP address; and the files and messages you send us. We collect it from you and, for analytics, automatically from your browser.
• Why we use it: for the purposes listed under “How we use it” above.
• Sale and sharing: we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not use sensitive personal information in ways that would give you a right to limit its use.
• Your rights: to know what we hold about you and get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. An authorized agent may make a request for you. We verify requests by confirming control of the email address linked to the information.
• Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to turn off analytics cookies in that browser.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

This website links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and X. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
